About Me

Are you looking for someone to help with your copywriting needs?

I can turn even the most complex ideas and jargon-filled descriptions into high-quality content. From blog posts or website pages to marketing materials and press releases - it's my job as an experienced writer/editor to craft great copy (trust me).

With over 18 years' experience in freelance, consultancy and in-house copywriting and communication roles, I have worked across various industries, including hospitality, tourism, healthcare, human resources, education, private equity, interior design, and professional cakes!

My strong track record in copywriting and strategic planning, public relations, and event organisation gives me an understanding of the communications sector that you can rely on!

How did I get my experience?

I began my career as a consultant for a boutique public relations agency in London, implementing creative campaigns that provided excellent media coverage for leading travel and tourism clients in the UK and Europe.

I then moved in-house and managed the Fundraising Media and PR and the Celebrity Liaison teams for the UK's largest cancer care charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, that raises over $250m a year.

Here I drafted and led the communications strategy for national and regional events and for the fundraising functions within the organisation including high wealth giving, events, corporate sponsorship, legacies, marketing and national awareness campaigns.

I moved to Singapore in 2008 and took some time out to be a mum. I then resumed my career and due to my love and abilities in writing, decided to take the plunge and become a freelance copywriter.
